About The Product
Purpose:
In a nutshell, our Pre-Greased Slip Joint’s are installed between a vertical wall (brick or concrete) and a horizontal concrete slab to create a low-friction barrier that allows the concrete slab to shrink and move without restraints from the blockwork/vertical concrete structure.
Typically, if there is friction created from concrete sitting directly on a vertical wall structure, then there is a risk of future damage to both the vertical wall and concrete slab.
Our pre-greased galvanized slip joints — also known as PG-SSJs – are produced in a high-capacity manufacturing facility with strict adherence to quality processes. Our PG-SSJs are nominated by engineers and qualified builders to adhere to structural design regulations for earthquakes as specified under AS 1170.4-2007.
Pre-Greased
Each slip joint is applied with a long-life premium grease between the sheets. The grease is suitable for high-pressure and harsh environments.
Packaging
All flat slip joints are efficiently rolled, taped and ready for use. The V-Cavity slip joints are bundled on a flat suitable lifting device for easy transportation Australia Wide. Custom packaging is also available.
Need Dowel sleeves?
We also manufacture Steel Spiral Dowel Sleeves (Spiral Grout Tubes) to cover the dowel bars. 40mm-150mm diameters are available.
